Biography
In August 1998 Anneli found out that she could combine her passion for music with work and began playing at nightclubs in southeast of Sweden. The passion for music began growing around age 4 while playing the piano with her mum. Some years later she became a flutist and played classical music in orchestras, at the same time she became a big fan of Iron Maiden, Metallica and Bad Religion, and collected their albums on vinyl at home. But this changed in 1994 when she, with a little help from a friend, discovered the electronic dance music in an underground Goatrance-party! For her this sound was beautiful like the classical music, and since then trance (in one way or another) been the preferred style. Today she mostly plays psychedelic trance/full-on, but progressive/electro is also a favourite, it depends on the organizer's demands and of course on the demands of the people on the dancefloor. Her basic thought about music is that there is good music in every genre, you just have to keep on searching to find it. This open-minded thinking is one of her strengths as a DJ. She always strives to find the perfect track for the instant moment on the dancefloor, not to please her own wishes, but for giving the dancing people what they want/need! She believes that one part of the DJ's job is to communicate with the crowd and ask them what they want to listen to WITHOUT saying a single word! If there's a nice vibe on the dancefloor the DJ can feel the answers and at that moment he/she puts together a perfect set knowing that the crowd is going to love every track played... During these years she has been playing more than 500 times around the world at both nightclubs and other venues together with some of the greatest artists and DJ's in the trancescene. For example at festivals like the Fullmoon Festival in Germany, Burningman in the USA, with 45 000 people in the Nevada desert, and the amazing festival Universo Paralello in Brazil, where 10 000 people celebrates the New Years Eve on the beach!! The impressions from the surroundings and the meetings with wonderful people are a nice bonus that comes with the travels. During the years she has been playing in 20 countries, and hopefully more countries (and continents) will be a part of her "office" in the future! Her goal with her sets is to communicate with the dancefloor, to feel the connection with the crowd so she could give them an unforgettable experience through the music. She plays carefully chosen tracks full of energy and originality with a big smile on her lips and she wants to make the crowd dance with a big smile on their lips too! She believes that she's blessed because she's working with the thing she loves the most, and she knows that music always will make her feel something special! In August 2006 Anneli joined the legendary label; PHANTASM RECORDS, which has been a part of the psy trance scene since the very beginning with the first release in 1993. Founded by John Phantasm and today they release music from artists like Eskimo, Bliss, Dynamo, Sirius Isness, Cosmosis, Cycle Sphere and more. Good music
